so in a nutshell, what's been going on:

- my uncle (actually my great uncle) passed away last sat. it wasn't unexpected, but she sure lived a long time with cancer and he looked pretty good i thought when i saw him last june. he was the one that got m a clown for my 9th b-day and i cried til the clown left. so when i told him the story of the clown at my recent party, i got a chuckle out of him. i'll miss you uncle dick and thanks for all the things you've done for me.

- on a lighter note, i did get my review this week, so that means i'll be a richer still-live-at-home poor person. * sigh * but at least i don't have a car payment anymore.

- chalise turned 30 yesterday. HAPPY B-DAY CHALISE! (you think she heard me?) FINALLY...the last of our 4 friends is also old.

- i'm REALLY looking forward to a sweep for the cubs tonight. i'm so happy they're doing so well. and don't you dare say choke. if you aren't a cub fan, fine, take it elsewhere.

- speaking of which, it's bad enough getting tickets for a cub game anyways, but NOW it's damn near impossible.

- i have house sit SO MANY houses. argh....maybe this is a sign i need to maybe i dunno, go somewhere. speaking of which, my parents leave for FL next tues.

- and of course, i missed my blogger anniversary (july 15) and seem to celebrate it (as always) by not blogging. wait, i kinda blogged around then.

i am so sick of those spam e-mails from the windows places. and i'm not talking computer programs.

but my favorite is the cleverly (*snicker*) disguised "hey-i-know-you-because-i'm-using-a-casual-greeting-as-my-subject-line" ones. usually go to the beat of "hey guy," HEY GUY?! ok, what part of the name "brittany" got you confused as to a dude's name?!

but my FAVORITE is that from arlene colon...yes, that's right colon...what a sexy name....in which it says:

"Hello! I am tired this afternoon. I am nice girl that would like to chat with you. Email me at hqlj@imailmessage.info only, because I am writing not from my personal email. Mind me sending some of my pictures to you?"


ok, you're what now....tired? so why don't you go take a nap? why is that relevant in the e-mail? oh, i'd better e-mail this chick quick before she grows more tired and falls asleep and out of my life.

oh wait, i just got some spam for a FENCE offer now. wow, my home is almost complete.

first off, forgive the white tabby stuff at the edge of these pictures (that are from my phone today), i would crop it out, but i'm currently at my sister's (housesitting) and i'm not sure which of their programs on here are good for cropping.

so today i opt to sit outside cause it's nice out and i'm also the color of a sheet.

no way, the dragon flies were EVERYWHERE! better than cicadas true, but ugh. so i decide to make good use of the nice day and go fishing.
